The Art of Lowriding is a short documentary capturing the passion behind the culture of lowriding. It features some of the industry’s biggest names, including famed painter Mario De Alba Jr., Hoppos Hydraulics (Art and Alex Tuason), artist OG Abel, and Joe Camacho of California Upholstery. Released in 2016, it’s a visual gem that will surely add to our culture’s rich history.
From a creative standpoint, it’s a high-quality video with excellent production value. The video opens up with a ’57 Bel Air owned by David Torres from Style car club, and it’s also got some killer footage from the Torres Super Show. I know I’m geeking out right now, but the music tracks synced perfectly during the hop highlights, and in the end it represents lowriding well.
