The Professionals Car Club has long been celebrated as one of the premier lowrider clubs of So Cal. Founded in the summer of 1974 by Ted Wells, Darrell “Bozo” Davis, and Lonnie “Keep it Lonnie” Bolton, the club has upheld its stellar reputation as having some of the finest lowriders in Southern California. In celebration of their excellence, and to mark 50 years of excellence and camaraderie, the Professionals organized a 50th Anniversary Celebration and Picnic that brought together some of Southern California’s most esteemed clubs, including South Side, BottomSS, Westside, Majestics, and High Class, among others.

FAMILY VIBES & A GOOD TIME

The venue for their 50th was El Dorado Park in Long Beach, CA, and they packed a full house. Tweet announced that vendors were not being accepted because the event was all about the memories and not the money. In staying true to his word, free food was being served from a 10×20 booth, and while donations were accepted, the food served was nothing short of what you’d expect from a killer BBQ.

Creating memories at a park during any lowrider meet goes beyond just admiring the cars; it’s about building community, celebrating culture, and sharing experiences that last a lifetime. But the Pro Day was something special as it provided the perfect setting for families, friends, and enthusiasts to come together in a relaxed, open environment. The memories made here—whether it’s the sight of gleaming paint under the sun, the sound of hydraulics on full tilt, or the laughter of friendly clowning —become stories we will tell for years to come. These moments strengthen bonds, celebrate the artistry of lowriders, and connect generations in a way that few other events can.
