From packing stadiums to flooding the streets, Jimmy Humilde is a natural-born entertainer. He’s mastered the art of showmanship, and as the CEO and co-founder of Rancho Humilde Records, Jimmy has amassed a fortune doing what he does best, and that’s putting on a show. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise. He’s been doing the damn thing since the age of 14 – a fact that shutters any hate, as it becomes proof that he’s true to it and not new to it.
But Jimmy’s label creates more than just music. They redefined it and, in the process, created their own genre of music. So when we found out Jimmy had a private function, it was a no-brainer that we had to pull up. Of course, it was all wishful thinking up until we got the invite, but once we did, it was on.
A few of the clubs in attendance were the Maniacos, Los Angeles, Lady Lowrider, Plato O Plomo, and we even spotted a few cars from none other than the Professionals car club. Among the highlights was Speedy’s new ’60 Impala rag, along with two new break out cars featuring custom hydraulic setups by Big Franks Custom hydraulics: Kevin Krivitsky Sr (@elevateceo) freshly released baby blue ’58 Impala was a neck snapper, as well as a ’57 Bel Air that featured a badass trunk setup

Complete with a parking lot full of lowriders, good food, great company, and some of the heaviest hitters in the Los Angeles lowrider scene, Jimmy’s Xmas BBQ was a hit and included some Los Angles legends, including OG Tweet and The King of Chevy’s Family, Speedy (Speedy’s Metal Finishing), Louis (Kandys by Louie), Big Frank Hydraulics, and Tony (Dream On Photography) just to mention a few.

Stay tuned for the second part of our coverage from Jimmy Humide’s Xmas BBQ. The event may have only been three hours long but with all the action and live music, it felt like an all-day affair, and with just a few weeks left in 2021, there was no better way to end it than with this banger.
